By accessing or using Bilto (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.
1.2 Description of Service
Bilto provides tools that allow users to create, edit, preview, download, and share invoices and related documents. Bilto is a software utility only and does not provide accounting, tax, legal, or financial advice.
1.3 Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use Bilto.
1.4 User Responsibilities
You agree that:
- You are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and legality of all invoices and data you create using Bilto.
- You will ensure your invoices comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws.
- You will not use Bilto for fraudulent, misleading, or illegal purposes.
1.5 No Professional Advice
Bilto does not provide accounting, tax, legal, or financial advice. Any calculations, templates, or country-specific formats are provided for convenience only.
1.6 Accounts & Access
- Certain features may require account registration.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated.
1.7 Free and Pro Features
Bilto offers free features and subscription-based Pro features. Pricing, limits, and inclusions may change at any time.
1.8 Payments & Refunds
Payments are processed by our payment partner, Paddle, who acts as the Merchant of Record. Subscription fees are billed in advance. We offer refunds for subscription purchases within 14 days of the initial charge, provided the service has not been substantially used. 1.9 Intellectual Property
All Bilto software, branding, templates, and designs are the exclusive property of Bilto. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute them.
1.10 User Content
You retain ownership of the data and content you create. By using Bilto, you grant us a limited license to process this content solely to provide the Service.
1.11 Public Invoice Links
If you generate public invoice links, you understand that anyone with the link may access the invoice. Bilto is not responsible for unintended sharing.
1.12 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bilto shall not be liable for:
- Incorrect invoices
- Lost revenue or payments
- Tax penalties or compliance issues
- Data loss
1.13 Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Bilto harmless from any claims arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
1.14 Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to Bilto at any time without notice for violations or misuse.
1.15 Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
1.16 Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Bilto operates.
